Blogging Through The Alphabet – favorite books for middle schoolers – introduction

Introductory Post

Blogging Through the Alphabet is starting up again and this time, we are going to focus on some of our favorite books for middle school. Now, you all know I have the girls so there will naturally be a slant there. However, I am going to try to get At Home Dad in on it so we don’t leave the boys out completely.

Each week we will feature one book. We are excited. After all, who didn’t like to talk books?

To kick it off, I am going to do a drawing for a copy of a book that we have enjoyed. We have reviewed titled from Carole P. Roman a couple of time and we really enjoy her books. The one I am giving away is a new copy of If You Were Me and Lived In . . . The Middle Ages.

Middle Ages Carole Roman book

This book covers many of the aspects of life in this time and how children would have been treated. Education, clothing, work, and more are covered. Picked full of well researched information, this book will delight any reader. To enter, use the link to the Rafflecopter found below. Only those with a continental US address may enter. I will be sending this myself.

Good luck and see you back here next week for the first letter of Blogging Through the Alphabet.

One of my favorite books we’ve used for homeschooling is Shadow Spinner…the story of Scheherazade. Awesome story!
