“Oh what a wonderful, wonderful day, Day I will never forget”

Do you have any of these days in your life? A wonderful day?

Take a moment to reflect on it.

What made it wonderful?

Consider that for a moment.

And be thankful for that.

In this week of Thanksgiving here in the US, thankfulness is on the mind of many. I encourage you to find a way this week to dwell on those things in your life that are wonderful. And be thankful for it.

Blessings,
Lori, At Home.

Heaven Came Down (Oh What A Wonderful, Wonderful Day)

Oh what a wonderful,
wonderful day,
day I will never forget
After I’d wandered in darkness away, Jesus my Savior I met.
Oh what a tender, compassionate friend, He met the need of my heart
Shadows dispelling, with joy I am telling, He made all the darkness depart.
Heaven came down and glory filled my soul,
When at the cross the Savior made me whole
My sins were washed away,
my night was turned to day,
Heaven came down and glory filled my soul!
Born of the Spirit with life from above into God’s family divine,
Justified fully thru Calvary’s love,
Oh what a standing is mine!
And the transaction so quickly was made, when as a sinner I came,
Took of the offer,
of grace He did proffer,
He saved me,
Oh praise His dear name!
Heaven came down and glory filled my soul,
When at the cross the Savior made me whole
My sins were washed away,
my night was turned to day,
Heaven came down and glory filled my soul!

I saw this title and immediately started humming. đŸ™‚ remembering good days is an excellent way for bringing to mind things to be thankful for.

I love this hymn so much! I was introduced to “Heaven Came Down” at church camp at age 9. I have loved it ever since. Thank you for the reminder!
