I Bring My Sins To Thee ~ hymn

My heart, my life my all I bring To Thee

When you come to meet the Lord, you can bring to Him whatever is burdening you. He is ready for it and as your Savior, can remove that burden. It is also good to share that burden with your Christian family so that they can help lighten that burden. They can’t remove it, as Christ can, but they can help lighten it. Let someone know. Let them pray. Let them help. Everyone will be encouraged and strengthened.

Blessings,
Lori, At Home.

I Bring My Sins To Thee

words: Frances R. Havergal (1870)
music: Philip P Bliss (1870)

1 I bring my sins to Thee,
The sins I cannot count,
That all may cleansed be
In Thy once opened fount:
I bring them, Savior, all to Thee;
The burden is too great for me,
The burden is too great for me.

2 I bring my grief to Thee,
The grief I cannot tell;
No word shall needed be
Thou knowest all so well:
I bring my sorrow laid on me,
O suffering Savior, all to Thee,
O suffering Savior, all to Thee.

3 My life I bring to Thee;
I would not be my own;
O Savior, let me be
Thine ever, Thine alone:
My heart, my life my all I bring
To Thee, my Savior and my King,
To Thee, my Savior and my King.

    I’d not heard of this song before though I know a bit about the author, so I have it playing in the background via youtube as I type. A decent tune and good call to us indeed.

      I enjoy learning a new one because I have to work a bit harder at it, really focusing on it.
